Ingredients:

• 2 cups – dried black beans
• 1 cup – sliced Tomatoes
• 3/4 cup – Tomato sauce
• 1 cup – chopped Onions
• 2 – green bell pepper, chopped
• 1 – yellow bell pepper, chopped
• 2 tsp -chilli sauce
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garlic Ginger paste
• 4 – Green chilli
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tsp – oil
• A handful – coriander
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients in a big bowl except the coriander and mix well.
  2. Put the mixture, into a greased big oven proof dish. Cover and bake 1 hr at 350 F (180 C) or till the black bean becomes tender.
  3. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  4. Serve.
