Ingredients:
• Besan – 1 cup
• Water – 3 cups
• Onions – 2 (small)
• Green chillies (3/4)
• Curry leaves – 1 stalk
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Haldi powder – 1 tsp
• Grated Coconut
• Oil to fry – 2 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Coriander – for garnishing
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, allow to splutter.
- Add chopped chillies and onions, fry till brown, then add haldi powder.
- Now add water, grated coconut and salt, allow to boil.
- Now add besan slowly stirring simultaneously avoiding besan lumps.
- Heat for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Makes a tasty dish with rice as well as chapattis too.
