Ingredients:
• 15 -20 – bread slices
• 2 – Onions
• 5 – 6 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Hing powder
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 20 – 25 nuts – groundnut
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• salt, as per taste
• oil for frying
• Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Grind the bread slices and make bread crumbs. Mix in some salt and keep aside.
- Cut onions, green chillies and keep them aside.
- Add oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, jeera seeds and groundnuts.
- Once the nuts are light brown in colour, add onion and chillies and fry them well.
- Add turmeric, hing and sugar in the oil.
- Add the bread crumbs and mix it well for 3 – 4 minutes.
- Serve hot after sprinkling the cut coriander leaves with pickle / curd.
