Ingredients:

• 15 -20 – bread slices
• 2 – Onions
• 5 – 6 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Hing powder
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 20 – 25 nuts – groundnut
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• salt, as per taste
• oil for frying
• Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Grind the bread slices and make bread crumbs. Mix in some salt and keep aside.
  2. Cut onions, green chillies and keep them aside.
  3. Add oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, jeera seeds and groundnuts.
  4. Once the nuts are light brown in colour, add onion and chillies and fry them well.
  5. Add turmeric, hing and sugar in the oil.
  6. Add the bread crumbs and mix it well for 3 – 4 minutes.
  7. Serve hot after sprinkling the cut coriander leaves with pickle / curd.
