Ingredients:

• 500 g – potatoes, boiled and mashed
• 100 g – cheddar cheese
• 1 inch – ginger, finely grated
• 1 cup – green coriander, finely chopped
• 1 – Green chilli finely chopped (or according to taste)
• 1 – large egg, beaten
• 3 tbsp – Oats
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 1 tsp – cumin seeds, coarsely crushed
• Salt to taste
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Mix all the above ingredients in a glass bowl.
  2. Make small balls and keep in fridge for 15 mins.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  4. Fry the balls on medium heat till light golden.
  5. Drain on a paper napkin and serve with tomato ketchup.
