Ingredients:

• 200g – Broccoli florets
• 1 – chopped Onion
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli paste
• 1 – Egg
• 3 tbsp – all-purpose flour
• 1 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1/4 tsp – ajinomoto
• Oil for deep frying
• Salt to taste
• Pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Bring the broccoli florets to boil in 1 cup of water until tender.
  2. Drain water and finely chop the broccoli.
  3. Make a thick batter by mixing egg, corn flour, all-purpose flour, chopped onion, red chilli paste, salt, pepper, and ajinomoto.
  4. Add chopped broccoli to the batter and mix well.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Deep fry the broccoli florets till light brown.
  7. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with chilli sauce.
