Ingredients:

• 2 cups – sifted flour
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1.25 tsp – soda bicarb
• 3/4 tsp – baking powder
• 2 – eggs
• 2 cups – fresh buttermilk
• 1/4 cup – melted Butter

Method:

  1. Sift dry ingredients together. Add remaining ingredients and stir to just moisten dry ingredients.
  2. Mixture will be thick and lumpy.
  3. Drop by the spoonful on to a lightly greased griddle, spreading batter with a spoon.
  4. Flip pancakes as soon as browned on one side and cook the other side until browned.
