Ingredients:
• 200 g – button mushrooms, sliced
• 1 cup – capsicum, finely chopped
• 1 cup – spring onion, chopped
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 tsp – minced Garlic
• 2 tsp – minced Ginger
• 2 green chilies, minced
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 2 tsp – dark soya sauce
• 2 tbsp – Tomato ketchup
• 2 tsp – Vinegar
• few drops tabasco sauce
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1/2 tsp – MSG, optional
Method:
- Combine garlic, ginger and green chilies with oil in a deep microwave proof glass dish. Cook on full power for 2 minutes.
- Add capsicums and cook on full power for 3 minutes, stirring once half way through.
- Add mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook on full power for 3-4minutes, stirring twice in between.
- Add spring onion and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add rest of the ingredients and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice, fried rice or noodles.
