Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – chopped Almonds
• 1 oz – popping Corn
• 1/4 cup – Raisins
• 1/4 cup – candied Cherries
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 4 tbsp – light Corn syrup
• 4 tbsp – Brown sugar
• 1/4 tsp – Cinnamon powder

Method:

  1. Pop the corn as per directions in the packet and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan mix butter, sugar, corn syrup along with cinnamon on low heat and keep whisking until the sugar blends well. Remove from heat.
  3. Add the popcorn, nuts, cherries and raisins.
  4. Stir well until blended and set aside for 1-2 min until cooled enough to handle with fingers. But don’t let it cool completely.
  5. Add a little melted butter in your hands so that the corn does not stick to your hands and then shape them into small balls.
  6. Let it cool and then wrap them in cellophane with decorative threads and hang them either on your Christmas tree or give as gifts.
