Ingredients:
• Potatoes – 3
• peas – 1 cup
• Tomatoes – 3
• Coriander leaves -1 bunch
• Onions – 2
• Garlic – 7 flakes
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
• Garam Masala powder – 1/4 tsp
• Sugar – 1/2 tsp
• salt to taste
• vegetable oil – 2 tsp
• Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Cook peas and potatoes.
- Grind onions, garlic, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder.
- Mash the potatoes.
- Blanch the tomatoes and puree it.
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, season with cumin seeds and fry the ground mixture on medium flame, till the oil separates from it.
- Add the tomato puree and bring it to boil.
- Now add mashed potatoes and cooked peas.
- Add enough water and boil for few minutes.
- Remove from fire and garnish with cut coriander leaves. Serve hot.
