Ingredients:

• 1 cup – grated Doodhi (bottle gourd)
• 2 cups – fresh Curd
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 3/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• salt to taste
• 1 tsp – ground Sugar
• 1/2 tsp each – cumin and Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tbsp – coriander, chopped finely

Method:

  1. Boil grated doodhi in a little water until soft. Drain and keep aside to cool.
  2. Coarsely crush the seeds together with stone or pestle.
  3. Beat the curd and milk together until smooth.
  4. Add all ingredients, including the doodhi.
  5. Mix well and chill for an hour before serving.
