Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Maida
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – warm Milk
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 50 g – toasted, broken cashew
• 1 cup – mashed Banana
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Take a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix well.
  2. Add butter, vanilla essence, powdered sugar and mix well.
  3. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy
  4. Peel skin and mash banana well using your hand or grind them to smooth paste.
  5. Add banana mixture to the butter mixture and mix well with a wooden spoon.
  6. Add this flour mixture to the butter mixture and fold in the flour.
  7. Start kneading into dough. Finally add toasted cashew nuts. Add milk if required.
  8. If the mixture is too sticky add little flour. Knead the dough until smooth.
  9. Cover the dough with butter paper and keep in the fridge for 30 mins.
  10. Shape into small balls. Make thick balls, cut it with cookie cutter.
  11. Preheat oven and bake at 180 degree Centigrade for 12 mins or until lightly browned. Serve.
