Ingredients:

• Basmati Rice – 1 cup
• Onion, sliced – 2
• Tomato, sliced – 1
• Sliced Garlic Cloves – 5
• Sliced Green chillies – 3
• Coconut Milk powder – 6 tbsp
• Cinnamon – 1 inch
• Cloves – 1
• Water – 2 cups or less
• Curry leaves
• Ghee – 2 tsp.
• Oil – 2 tsp

Method:

  1. Soak rice in water for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare coconut milk with 2 cups of water. Set it aside.
  3. Take a frying pan, pour 2 tsp of ghee & slightly fry the soaked rice.
  4. Take pressure cooker, heat oil, fry cinnamon, cloves, then add onion & garlic and fry it.
  5. Add green chillies, tomatoes, curry leaves & fry it.
  6. Add the coconut milk, add salt to taste & allow it to boil.
  7. Now add the fried rice & cook for 1 whistle.
  8. Serve it with Chips & Raita.
