Ingredients:
• 3 – medium-sized pomfrets, cut into pieces
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 4 – Green chillies
• 4 tbsp – Coriander leaves
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 2 – Cloves
• 2 – Cardamoms
• 2 pieces – Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• salt
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2 – onions, sliced finely
• 1/2 cup – Coconut paste
• 2 tsp – chopped Mint leaves
Method:
- Grind the green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, coconut, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and cumin to a smooth paste in a blender.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions till they are golden brown in colour.
- Add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for some time.
- Now add the ground masala, salt and mix it well.
- Keep frying it on low heat till the oil separates from the masala.
- Add the pomfret and sufficient water to cover the fish, cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Serve it hot.
