Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Cabbage finely grated
• 1 – Onion finely chopped
• A pinch of Turmeric
• 1/2 cup – roasted gram dal (pottu kadalai)
• 2 – Red Chillies
• A pinch of Asafoetida
• 7 – pods of Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – Saunf
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – oil
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients (except cabbage and onion) and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, cabbage and very little water. Sautee.
- When the cabbage is done, add the ground powder. Stir well.
- Serve with rice.
