• One Cauliflower – small florets
• Plain Flour two tbsp
• chilli Powder two tsp
• Onion two, finely chopped
• Tomato puree one tbsp
• Coriander leaves two tbsp
• Salt as per taste


  1. Take cauliflower florets in a bowl, add salt and a little chilli powder.
  2. Add little water to flour make a batter.
  3. Coat the florets in the batter and deep fry them.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, fry the onions first then add the tomato puree, chilli powder, salt and water.
  5. Let it cook on high fire for some time.
  6. Once the gravy thickens, add the fried cauliflower mix well.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
  8. Make sure that you serve it as soon as you mix the florets in the gravy, else it becomes soggy.
