Ingredients:

• 1 lb – Karela
• 1 tbsp – Lime juice
• Red Chilli powder – As per taste
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Wash and slice the karelas into thin rounds.
  2. Apply salt and leave it for an hour.
  3. Drain out the water and dry it in the sun for a couple of days.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai and fry the dried karelas till golden brown (do not deep fry).
  5. Sprinkle red chilli powder and mix well with lime juice before serving.
  6. Garnish with finely chopped fresh cilantro and onion.
