Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Rice vermicelli
• Green chillies, chopped – 3-4
• Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
• Black gram (urad dal) – 1 tbsp
• Channa dal – 1 tbsp
• Peanuts – 2 tbsp
• Turmeric – 1 tsp
• Oil – 5-6 tbsp
• Lemon juice – 3-4 tbsp (or according to your taste)
• Salt

Method:

  1. Take the rice vermicelli in a bowl, add boiling water to it and cover with a lid.
  2. Allow it to soak for 15-20 minutes or until the vermicelli has absorbed the water. (do not leave for long)
  3. Drain the water by putting vermicelli into a sieve and leave it for a while in the sieve until the water has completely drained.
  4. Add oil into a wok and when the oil is hot, add mustard, cumin, urad dal, channa dal and peanuts.
  5. Let them turn brown, then add turmeric, coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chillies.
  6. Turn down the heat and add vermicelli, salt and lemon juice.
  7. Mix well and serve.
