Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups (225g) – all-purpose flour
• 3 tbsp – cocoa powder
• 3/4 tsp – baking soda
• 1/4 tsp – baking powder
• 1/4 tsp – salt

Method:
- Take water in a bowl; add vanilla essence, sugar, lemon juice and oil. Mix well till sugar completely dissolves. Keep aside.
- Now take flour, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder and sift together twice.
- Then slowly add the sifted flour mixture to the wet ingredients mixture – in 2 parts.
- Gently mix in one direction, then add half of the choco chips and gently mix.
- The batter should be runny.
- Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius for 10 mins.
- In the meanwhile, grease the cake pan with a few drops of oil and pour the batter into the cake pan and top it with remaining choco chips.
- Bake at 180 deg Celsius for 35 – 40 mins.
- Check if a fork inserted comes out clean.
- Make sure to cool completely for about 10 – 15 mins and then invert carefully, cut into pieces and serve.
