
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Jeera Rice
• 3 – large Onions sliced into thin pieces
• 4 cups – boiled water
• 4 tbsp – Ghee
• 4- sticks of Cinnamon
• 6 – Cardamom
• 6 – Cloves
Method:
- Pour ghee into a thick bottomed vessel.
- Add all the masala into the ghee.
- When the masala starts to splutter, add onion and fry till they become transparent.
- Now add the washed rice and fry for 10 mins.
- Pour boiled water into the rice and add enough salt.
- Close the vessel and simmer till rice is cooked.
- Serve hot with Malabar chicken curry and raita.
