Ingredients:
• 250 g – Almonds
• 250 g – Sugar
• 300 g – Icing Sugar
• 2 – Egg whites
• 1/4 tsp – Rose water for grinding
• 1/4 tsp – Almond essence
• 250 g – Cashew nuts
• 1-2 drops – Food colour.
Method:
- Grind the almonds and cashew nuts with the egg whites and rose water into a smooth paste.
- Transfer the paste into a heavy bottomed pan and add the sugar.
- Cook on a low heat stirring all the time until the mixture forms into a soft ball.
- Remove from heat and add the icing sugar.
- Divide the mixture into 3 parts and add a few drops of food colour.
- Knead until it forms a dry ball.
- Divide the mixture into even sided balls.
- Mould into different shapes.
- Cool in a refrigerator.
