Ingredients:

• Methi seeds -1/2 cup
• Onions – 4 (Cut finely)
• Tomatoes – 3 (Cut finely)
• Jaggery – 1 tbsp
• Goda Masala (bedekar) – 1 tbsp
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Soak the methi seeds overnight.
  2. Next morning remove water and transfer the seeds to a muslin cloth.
  3. Cover with a vessel and hang to drain overnight.
  4. In a kadai, heat oil. Add hing and turmeric.
  5. Fry onions for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add tomatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add the methi seeds, masala, jaggery and salt.
  8. Cook for another 10 minutes on medium heat.
  9. Serve with roti.
