• 1 cup – Mixed nuts
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 2 tsp – Lemon Juice
• 1 pinch – Saffron
• 2-3 tbsp – Water.


  1. Dry roast the mixed nuts in a pan for 2 mins in medium flame. Chop them coarsely and keep aside.
  2. Now grease a butter paper with ghee and grease the rolling pin too.
  3. Boil the sugar in 2-3 tbsp of water.
  4. When the sugar starts melting add the saffron and then add the lemon juice.
  5. Saute until the sugar gets caramelized and is light golden in colour.
  6. Now add the dry roasted mixed nuts to this, stir well and transfer it to the greased butter paper.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly using the greased rolling pin.
  8. Now cut it into desired shapes.
  9. Let it cool.
  10. Then break them into pieces.
  11. Store in an airtight container.
