
Ingredients:
• 100g – Channa dal
• 2 – small Green chillies chopped
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 1 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1 bunch – coriander, chopped
• Salt as per taste
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – tender coconut, grated
Method:
- Soak channa dal in water for 1 hour.
- Once dal is soaked, remove all water and dry.
- Grind dal in food processor.
- Heat oil and add mustard.
- When mustard seeds pop up, add green chilli, asafoetida, and turmeric.
- Add ground dal, salt, and lemon juice.
- Mix and cook for 3-5 mins.
- Garnish it with coriander and coconut.
