Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Left-over Rice
• 1/4 cup – Water
• 1/4 cup – Buttermilk
• 3 to 4 – small Onions chopped roughly
• 1 – Green chilli chopped finely
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak the leftover rice in water overnight.
- Drain a little water next morning and add buttermilk.
- Mash well with a ladle.
- Add a little more water to bring it to porridge consistency.
- Add required salt, finely chopped onion and green chillies, mix well.
- Pour into mud pots and allow it to rest for a while.
- Serve with pickle or fish curry.
