Ingredients:

• 1 bunch- Palak
• 100 g – paneer, cut into 1 inch cubes
• 1 small piece – Ginger
• 2 – Garlic
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp – oil
• Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Tomato and chilli sauce

Method:

  1. Chop the palak and wash it well.
  2. Now boil the palak along with ginger, chillies, garlic for 15-20 mins. Cool for a while and grind to a paste.
  3. In a frying pan, heat oil, temper cumin seeds.
  4. Add the palak paste and fry it well for 10 mins on a medium flame.
  5. Now add tomato and chilli sauce and mix it well.
  6. Add paneer cubes, salt and again mix it.
  7. Cook covered for 5 mins.
  8. Palak paneer is ready. Serve hot with rice or roti.
