
Ingredients:
• Paneer – 350 grams
• Green peas – 100 grams
• Onion – 2 large
• Ginger – 1 tbsp
• Garlic – 2 tbsp
• Green chillies – 4 nos
• Tomatoes – 3 large
• Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
• Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
• Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
• Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
• Chat Masala – ½ tsp
• Water – 150 ml
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Mince or finely chop paneer
- Finely chop onions, green chilli, tomatoes and coriander, store separately
- Make a paste of ginger and garlic
- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add cumin seeds, allow to splutter.
- Add chopped onion and sauté for 2 mins till translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder saute for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes, green chilli, ginger-garlic paste, paneer and green peas.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 20 minutes with water. Stir occasionally.
- Add salt to taste.
- Remove from flame. Sprinkle chat masala and chopped coriander leaves. Cover and leave till ready to be served.
- Serve with toasted brown bread or roti.
- Always cook this recipe on low flame, covered with a lid to get a moisture filled fluffy bhurji.
