Ingredients:
• 250 g – Paneer cubes
• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• 1/2 cup – masoor dal
• 1/2 cup – moong dal
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 1/2 cup – Kabuli Channa
• 1/2 cup – dry Green peas
• 1/2 cup – Rajma
• 2 – chopped Tomatoes
• 4 to 5 – Green chillies
• 1 – chopped Onion
• chopped Ginger
• For tadka:
• 5 tbsp – cooking oil
• 1 tbsp – kasuri Methi
• 1 tbsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – cumin powder
• 1 tbsp – Dhania powder
• 1 tbsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala powder
Method:
- Mix all the dals.
- Wash thoroughly and soak for 6 hours.
- Add 1 chopped tomato, 2 chopped green chillies and chopped ginger to the soaked dals and pressure cook till done (approx 3 whistles).
- Cool cooker, remove dal, and beat with hand beater.
- For tadka:
- Heat 5 tbsp of oil in a pan and splutter cumin seed and remaining 3 split green chillies.
- Fry chopped onion till golden brown.
- Add the other chopped tomato and fry.
- Add kasuri methi and rest of the dry masala powders fry for a minute more.
- Add the paneer cubes to the tadka and fry for a minute.
- Add the dal and bring to boil.
- Simmer for 5-7 mins.
