Ingredients:

• 250 g – Paneer cubes
• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• 1/2 cup – masoor dal
• 1/2 cup – moong dal
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 1/2 cup – Kabuli Channa
• 1/2 cup – dry Green peas
• 1/2 cup – Rajma
• 2 – chopped Tomatoes
• 4 to 5 – Green chillies
• 1 – chopped Onion
• chopped Ginger
• For tadka:
• 5 tbsp – cooking oil
• 1 tbsp – kasuri Methi
• 1 tbsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp – cumin powder
• 1 tbsp – Dhania powder
• 1 tbsp – chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala powder

Method:

  1. Mix all the dals.
  2. Wash thoroughly and soak for 6 hours.
  3. Add 1 chopped tomato, 2 chopped green chillies and chopped ginger to the soaked dals and pressure cook till done (approx 3 whistles).
  4. Cool cooker, remove dal, and beat with hand beater.
  5. For tadka:
  6. Heat 5 tbsp of oil in a pan and splutter cumin seed and remaining 3 split green chillies.
  7. Fry chopped onion till golden brown.
  8. Add the other chopped tomato and fry.
  9. Add kasuri methi and rest of the dry masala powders fry for a minute more.
  10. Add the paneer cubes to the tadka and fry for a minute.
  11. Add the dal and bring to boil.
  12. Simmer for 5-7 mins.
