Ingredients:

• For the dough:
• Maida – 1 cup
• Wheat flour – 1 cup
• Water – required quantity
• Salt – 1/2 tsp
• Butter – 1/2 tsp
• For the Stuffing:
• 1 – Potato, chopped
• 1 – Carrot, chopped
• 1/2 – Bell pepper, chopped
• 1 – Medium sized onion, chopped
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil

Method:

  1. Make the dough by mixing the maida, wheat flour, salt, butter and water.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and saute the ginger-garlic paste for 1 minute.
  3. Then add the onions and saute until pink.
  4. Add the chopped potatoes, carrots and the bell peppers to it.
  5. Add the salt and chilli powder to it.
  6. After the vegetables are cooked, add the garam masala and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Let it cool.
  8. Divide the dough into small balls and roll out into round thin layers.
  9. In each layer, place a little curry in it.
  10. Fold and seal the edges with a little water.
  11. Heat oil in a tawa and place 2 rolls at a time in it and fry until a golden brown.
  12. Serve the rolls with chutney or tomato sauce.
