Ingredients:

• Karela – 250 g
• Lime Juice – 1 tbsp
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 4 tbsps

Method:

  1. Slice the karelas into thin rounds.
  2. Smear with salt and keep aside for an hour. Drain out the water and sun dry for a couple of days.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai and fry the dried karelas till golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle red chilli powder and mix well with lime juice before serving.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped fresh coriander and onion.
