Ingredients:

• 1 pound – unsalted Butter
• 3 cups – besan
• 3/4 cup – rava
• 3 cups – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – Milk
• 5-10 – Pistachios chopped
• 5-10 – Almonds chopped
• Some cardamom, powdered

Method:

  1. Boil the unsalted butter on low heat to make ghee.
  2. Add 1 tbsp of milk and ghee into the besan and mix well.
  3. Sieve the besan for any lumps.
  4. Add the besan to the ghee and stir it on low heat.
  5. Keep stirring till the besan turns brown and separates a little from the ghee.
  6. Add the rava and keep stirring till it turns brown, too.
  7. Add the sugar and keep stirring.
  8. Empty the whole mixture into a plate.
  9. After it cools a little, sprinkle with pistachios, almonds and crushed cardamom.
  10. Once it cools completely, cut it into squares.
