
Ingredients:
• Rice-3 cups
• Toor dal-1/2 cup
• Chana dal- 1/2 cup
• 2 tsps – Coarsely crushed Black pepper
• 1/2 cup – Freshly grated Coconut
• 1 bunch of finely chopped Cilantro
• 4- Finely chopped Green chillies
• 1 tsp Cuminutes
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Blend the rice coarsely in a blender.
- Blend the dals coarsely in a blender.
- Soak the rice, tuvar dal and channa dal powders in lukewarm water adding sufficient salt. Make sure to add the water just enough to cover the mixture.
- Let the mixture set for about 1.5 hours.
- Add cumin, green chillies, coconut, coriander, crushed black pepper to the mixture and mix well.
- Meanwhile heat a griddle and grease it with 1 tsp of oil.
- Ladle batter into the centre of the pan and spread it around in a circular fashion (from inside out) shaping it into a thick dosa.
- Wait for a few seconds, then take 1 tsp of oil and spread it over the edges of the dosa.
- When the edges turn golden, flip the dosa on the other side. Again add 1 tsp of oil and cook it for a minute.
- Serve the dosa with butter.
