Ingredients:
• 4-5 – Tomatoes
• 2 – medium sized Onions
• 5 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – gram flour (channa besan) mixed in luke warm water without lumps
• 1/4th tsp – Turmeric
• 1tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 3 – medium sized glasses of water
• salt to taste
• A pinch – Hing
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – gram dal
• 1 tsp – split black gram dal
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• Some Curry leaves
Method:
- Cut the onions, green chillies and tomatoes into small pieces.
- Take a non-stick pan or any vessel, and pour the oil in that and add the seasoning in the following order: hing, jeera, gram dal, split black gram dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves.
- Now add the cut onions and fry them till they turn soft and then add the tomatoes and green chillies.
- Once they turn a little soft, add the 3 glasses of water, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and let it cook.
- When it is cooked well, add the channa besan mixed with water and cook for 5 mins.
- Mix well and serve it with rice/roti/puri.
