Ingredients:

• 2 cups – strawberries
• 2 cups – Greek yogurt
• Honey or agave syrup
• 1 tbsp – Pumpkin seeds
• 1 tsp – Flax seeds
• 2 tbsp – Oats
• 1 tbsp – Quinoa flakes
• 5 – Almonds
• 5 – Cashewnuts
• Water

Method:

  1. Cook the oats, quinoa flakes with enough water for 2-3 minutes, in a microwave oven on high.
  2. Keep aside and let them cool.
  3. Now put the strawberries, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, almonds, cashew nuts, honey and 1 cup of Greek yogurt in a blender.
  4. Blend well until it turns into a thick paste.
  5. Add the cooked quinoa flakes, oats and the remaining yogurt, blend well again.
  6. Serve this thick smoothie immediately or with ice cubes for a hot summer breakfast.
