Ingredients:
• Thotakura (1 whole bunch)
• 1 – whole medium sized Onion
• 2 – medium sized Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Chana dal
• 1 tsp – urid dal
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 or 2 – Red Chillies
• 2 to 3 tsp – cooking oil
• salt to taste
• Turmeric
Method:
- Chop thotakura with the stems.
- Wash and cook in the cooker along with little salt and turmeric.
- Chop onions and keep aside.
- Pour oil in the frying pan and add all the seasoning items along with green chillies.
- Make sure the seasoning is optimally fried.
- Add onions and fry them till they turn golden brown.
- Now add totakura by draining the extra water using a colander.
- Add a little more salt if required.
- Keep it on the stove till the bhaji is almost dry.
- Serve with hot rice.
