Ingredients:

• Thotakura (1 whole bunch)
• 1 – whole medium sized Onion
• 2 – medium sized Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Chana dal
• 1 tsp – urid dal
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 or 2 – Red Chillies
• 2 to 3 tsp – cooking oil
• salt to taste
• Turmeric

Method:

  1. Chop thotakura with the stems.
  2. Wash and cook in the cooker along with little salt and turmeric.
  3. Chop onions and keep aside.
  4. Pour oil in the frying pan and add all the seasoning items along with green chillies.
  5. Make sure the seasoning is optimally fried.
  6. Add onions and fry them till they turn golden brown.
  7. Now add totakura by draining the extra water using a colander.
  8. Add a little more salt if required.
  9. Keep it on the stove till the bhaji is almost dry.
  10. Serve with hot rice.
