Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Tomatoes
• 3/4 cup – Dates (Khajur)
• 1/2 cup – Kismis
• 1 tsp – (Cinnamon, Clove and Black pepper powder)
• 1/2 cup – Vinegar
• 3/4 cup – Sugar

Method:

  1. Put tomatoes in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then remove the skin of tomatoes and make a paste of it with your hands.
  2. Mix sugar in vinegar and keep it on slow flame till it gets dissolved, then put masala powder and kismish into it.
  3. Remove the seeds of dates, make small pieces of it and add it to the above mixer along with tomato paste. Stir continuously.
  4. Keep it on a slow flame till the mix gets thick.
  5. Have it with chutney with paratha or chapatti.
