Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Tomatoes
• 3/4 cup – Dates (Khajur)
• 1/2 cup – Kismis
• 1 tsp – (Cinnamon, Clove and Black pepper powder)
• 1/2 cup – Vinegar
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
Method:
- Put tomatoes in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then remove the skin of tomatoes and make a paste of it with your hands.
- Mix sugar in vinegar and keep it on slow flame till it gets dissolved, then put masala powder and kismish into it.
- Remove the seeds of dates, make small pieces of it and add it to the above mixer along with tomato paste. Stir continuously.
- Keep it on a slow flame till the mix gets thick.
- Have it with chutney with paratha or chapatti.
