Ingredients:

• 1 kg – veal cut into medium pieces
• 3 – big Tomatoes pureed
• 2 big Onions chopped
• 3 medium Potatoes pealed and cut into quarters
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – mustard powder
• 3 tsp – chilli powder
• 2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 3 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1/2 cup – Vinegar
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan or pressure cooker and fry the onions till golden brown.
  2. Add the garlic paste and fry well.
  3. Add the chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, mustard powder, pepper powder, a little water and fry well, till the oil separates from the mixture.
  4. Now add the tomato puree, salt and fry for some more time.
  5. Add the veal, potatoes, vinegar and mix well.
  6. Add more water depending on how much gravy is required and cook till done.
