Ingredients:

• Soya granules – 250 g
• Fresh peas – 1 cup
• Coconut – 6 tbsp
• Ginger – 1/2 inch
• Garlic – 8 Cloves
• Coriander leaves, a few strands
• Dhania powder – 1 tsp
• Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Cinnamon stick – 1 inch
• Cloves – 4
• Onion – 2
• Tomato – 1
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. First, boil the water in a bowl. Then, add the soya granules in them and allow them to stay for 15 minutes.
  2. Then, squeeze out the water from the soya granules.
  3. Grind coconut, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, chilli powder, dhania powder, onion and tomato to a smooth paste.
  4. In a borosil bowl, add oil and heat on high for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the ground masala and fry for sometime in oil on high for 1 minute. Then add the peas and cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Now, add the squeezed soya granules and salt to it. Add a little water and allow to cook.
  7. Cook till the peas are tender. Ensure the gravy is not too watery.
  8. Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with puri or roti .
