Ingredients:
• Wheat Flour – 1 cup
• Red Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
• Heated oil – 1 tsp
• Salt as required
• Water as required
• Garam Masala Powder (if required) – 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients together except water.
- Add water little by little to the above mix and knead it to a roti dough.
- Make into medium sized balls.
- Roll each ball into a thin roti and cut it into diamond shaped pieces or any other preferred shape.
- Spread them on a thin plastic sheet or clean newspaper sheet.
- Each piece should be separate.
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- Put a handful of pieces at a time and fry until golden brown.
- Preserve in an air tight container.
