Ingredients:

• 250 g – Doodhi
• 100 g – soaked moong dal
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 cup – Coriander leaves
• salt to taste
• oil as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds start crackling, add the pieces of doodhi, soaked moong dal, salt and all the masalas.
  3. Add water if necessary and cook until done.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves.
