Ingredients:

• Maida – 1.75 cups
• Sugar (ground) – 1.75 cups
• Oil – 1 cup
• Milk – 1 cup
• 3 – eggs (whites and yolks separately)
• Cocoa powder – 4 tbsp
• Salt – a pinch
• Baking powder – 1 tsp
• Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
• Elaichi (crushed) – a pinch
• Coffee – a pinch

Method:

  1. Mix the maida, sugar, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder and a pinch of coffee.
  2. Sieve the mixture at least 4 times.
  3. Take a deep vessel. Put the mixture in it.
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  5. Make a well in the mixture.
  6. Then add the oil and milk gradually.
  7. Add the egg yolks.
  8. Add the vanilla essence and crushed elaichi.
  9. Add the egg whites to the cake mix and fold in.
  10. Microwave on high for 20 minutes until the cake is done.
