Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup – Butter (40 g)
• Regular marshmallows – 3 cups
• 6 cups – Rice crispies cereal.

Method:

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and continue to stir until the marshmallows have completely melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the rice crispies, coating them well with the melted marshmallow mixture.
  4. With buttered hands, make golf size balls and cool to room temperature before serving.
  5. If you want squares or diamond shaped treats, using buttered hands (or buttered spatula) press the mixture evenly into a 15 x 10 x 2 inch pan, ensuring it’s been greased or lined with butter paper.
  6. Cut into squares or diamonds when the mixture cools.
