Ingredients:

• 1 cup – syrup from the tin
• 2 tsp – Pineapple custard powder
• 3 tsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Pineapple essence
• 2 slices very finely chopped tinned Pineapple

Method:

  1. Mix syrup & corn flour in a heavy pan. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously, till mixture turns transparent, and coats the back of a spoon.
  2. Add pineapple bits, essence and stir. Serve warm. Variations
  3. Use canned litchis, mixed fruit, cherries etc. instead of grapes. Change the flour of the custard powder respectively.
  4. Use few drops color where desired.
