
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Rice flour
• 5 – Red Chillies to taste(broken to small pieces)
• 1 small Lemon size – Imli
• 1 cup – oil
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – rai
• Asafetida
• Curry leaves
• Salt
Method:
- Soak imli in hot water for 10 mins and extract juice in 2 cups of water.
- Add the imli juice, salt to the rice flour and make soft dough of it.
- Take a kadai and add oil. When hot add rai, urad dal, curry leaves, red chillies, and asafoetida.
- When urad dal becomes brown, add the prepared dough into the oil and keep stirring till done.
- Cool it for some time and add this upma in to the mixer grinder and grind just for 1 minute.
