Ingredients:
• 5 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 cup – semolina
• 1 to 1.5 cup – Sugar as per taste
• 2.5 cup – water
• Orange food colour
• Cardamom powder
• Cashew nuts
• Raisins
Method:
- Melt 1 tbsp of ghee on high for 1 minute.
- Add 2 tbsp each of cashew nut pieces and raisins, and cook for 1 minute. Remove to a plate and reserve.
- Melt one more tbsp of ghee in the same bowl.
- Mix in the semolina and cook on high for 2 mins, stirring once.
- Add sugar, remaining ghee, water and colour.
- Mix and cook without cover for 7-8 mins (stir 3 times). Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
- Add cardamom, fried cashew nuts, raisins and serve.
