
Ingredients:
• 4 – Potatoes (cubed)
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Chilli powder as needed
• 4 Green chillies (split)
• 1/2 of a medium sized – Tomato (chopped finely)
• 3 Cloves
• 1/2 a stick – Cinnamon
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1/2 inch piece – Ginger
• 2 tsp – Chicken Masala
• 1 medium sized – Onion (chopped)
• Coriander leaves handful
Method:
- Boil the cubed potatoes with salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, and 1 tsp. of chicken masala till its soft but without breaking.
- Crush the cloves, cinnamon, garlic and ginger together and fry it in oil till it sputters.
- Next add the chopped onions and fry till it’s golden brown. Then add coriander leaves and chillies.
- Put a little more chilli powder if needed, 1 tsp of chicken masala and fry it with the chopped tomatoes. Fry till the oil separates.
- Add the potatoes to it and fry it till it turn golden brown. Serve with rice or with Kerala porotta.
