
Ingredients:
• semolina (rava) – 2 cup
• whole Wheat flour – 1 cup
• grated Coconut – 2 cup
• green chilies – 4 to 5, chopped
• Ginger – 1 tsp, minced
• Sugar – 1 to 2 tbsp
• oil or Ghee as needed
• salt to taste
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients together.
- Add enough water to form a semi solid, paste like dough.
- Keep covered for about ½ hour.
- Heat a dosa tawa( preferably non-stick).
- Lower the flame.
- Dip your hand in a bowl of water and lift out a handful of dough.
- Drop it on the tawa, and with moist fingers, flatten the dough to about 1 cm thick disc (your fingers must touch only the dough and not the tawa).
- Pour some oil or ghee all round it and cook on mode heat.
- When the underside is cooked, turn the bhakri over.
- Now add some more ghee or oil and cook the other side.
- Serve hot or cold with a blob of butter.
