Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Rice flour
• 1 cup – Butter
• 5 cups – powdered Sugar
• oil for frying
• cherry fruits for decoration

Method:

  1. Soak the rice for about an hour and dry in a towel (leave it slightly damp). Grind the rice into a fine powder.
  2. Mix the rice flour with butter and knead into a soft dough (like chapathi dough). Do not add water.
  3. Make small rounds with the dough (little thick, not too flat) and press gently.
  4. Spread the powdered sugar in a plate and keep it ready.
  5. Deep-fry the badushahs in oil and dip them lightly on both sides in the powdered sugar when hot.
  6. For decoration, press in a cherry in the centre of each ball and place on a plate. Serve immediately or store it an air tight container.
