Ingredients:

• 125 g – Butter
• 100 g – castor Sugar
• 75 g – grated Jaggery
• 1 – Egg
• 100 g – flour
• 50 g – Coconut powder
• 125 g – chocolate chips
• 100 g – melted chocolate for decoration

Method:

  1. Whip butter, sugar and jaggery until light and fluffy.
  2. Stir in the egg, followed by the flour, coconut and chocolate chips.
  3. Place spoonfuls of the mixture on a lightly oiled sheet and bake in a moderate oven at 180 degrees C for 10-20 minutes or until golden in colour.
  4. Let the biscuits cool slightly before removing from the tray. Decorate with melted chocolate.
