Ingredients:

• 1 – crab, boiled and minced
• 1 tbsp – flour
• 1 tsp – sliced green Onions
• 1 – egg, slightly beaten
• salt and pepper to taste
• a pinch of Nutmeg
• For sweet and sour sauce: 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• 1 tbsp each – Tomato and soy sauce
• 1 tsp – Corn flour
• 1.5 cups – water

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients. Mix well and drop tsp full in smoking oil and deep-fry to golden brown.
  2. Drain and serve on cocktail sticks with sweet and sour sauce.
  3. For sweet and sour sauce: Dissolve the flour in 2 tbsp of water. Mix sugar, water and vinegar in a pan and cook over low flame until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Add the flour, soya and tomato sauce and keep stirring until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from the flame and cool.
