
Ingredients:
• 4 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• 8 – Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp – Poppy Seeds
• 1 tbsp – sesame seeds
• 1 tbsp – ground nuts
• 1 tbsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• 1 tbsp – Toor Dal
• 1 tbsp – moong dal
• 5 – cashews
• 1/2 tsp – asafetida powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat a kadai, dry roast coriander seeds and red chillies till a nice aroma comes. Keep aside.
- Now roast toor dal and channa dal for 3 minutes and keep aside.
- Roast moong dal and urad dal and keep aside.
- Roast poppy seeds and sesame seeds together and keep aside.
- Roast ground nuts and cashew nuts together and keep aside.
- Let all the ingredients cool.
- After 5 minutes, grind all ingredients along with asafoetida powder and salt.
- Store this powder in an air-tight container.
- Serve with hot rice along with ghee or til oil.
